If you
have already objected in writing to the original planning
application then the inspector will get a copy. You can however
still write again explaining further your reasons for
objecting. If you have not written,
then we would encourage you to write a letter objecting to the proposed wind farm. This
must be done by 16th November 2005. Any letters received after this
date will not even be sent to the inspector.
Your
letter need not be long - just state clearly that you
object to the proposal by Your Energy for 16, 100 metre high wind
turbines between Boxworth & Conington. Valid reasons to quote can
be one or more of the following:
- Visual
impact
- Flickering/strobe
light pollution
- Noise
pollution
- Infrasound
pollution
- Safety
on the A14
- Aviation
risks
- No
local economic benefit
- Devaluation
of local house prices
- Birds
and bats killed directly by the turbines
- Impact
on birds found in the Fen Drayton Nature Reserve
- Reduced
analog TV reception
- Limited
reduction of CO2
